fig, brie & caramelized onion puff pastry

- puff pastry sheets
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- fig butter
- brie
- egg wash
- Thaw puff pastry sheets
- Preheat oven to 425 F
- Caramelize 1 yellow onion (saute with 1 tbsp butter & 1 tbsp oil for 40 mins, stirring once in a while)
- Cut puff pastry sheets into rectangles
- Score rectangles in the middle of each rectangle
- Spread fig butter on inner rectangle
- Add brie pieces and caramelized onions
- Brush edges (exposed parts) of puff pastry with egg wash
- Bake @ 425F for 12-15 mins until edges are golden brown
